(Miami Gardens, FL) – With Thanksgiving right around the corner and the rising cost of food, many families are struggling with the high costs associated with the holiday’s traditional dinner. To help eliminate some of the financial burdens that come along with the Thanksgiving holiday, the Big Dreams For Kids Foundation, founded by popular South Florida-based entertainer Flo Rida, has teamed up with the Beta Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., 100 Black Men of South Florida, The Law Office of Reginald A. Mathis & Associates, and Strong Arm International Music Group on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 12:00PM – 2:00PM to distribute free food baskets at Studio 183 Lounge located at 230 NW 183rd Street in Miami Gardens, FL to hundreds of local families.
Each food basket will contain a turkey, vegetables, cornbread, and all of the fixings needed to create a hardy Thanksgiving Day dinner for a family of 8.
Baskets will start being distributed at 1:00PM and will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
“This is the season of giving and God has enabled me to be a blessing to others,” says Flo Rida.
Flo Rida, born Tramar Dillard, is more than just an international recording artist, he is a philanthropist that founded the Big Dreams for Kids Foundation, a non-profit 501©3 organization committed to instilling honesty, loyalty, integrity, sportsmanship, and a host of other qualities, along with creating a commitment to youth athletes through the FYFL youth football league.
