Our Team Celebrates Community with Free Food Distribution Event in Sistrunk

On November 2, 2024, SouthPromo.com partnered with New Hope Missionary Baptist Church to host a heartwarming community food distribution in the Historic Sistrunk neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale. This event was held in honor of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church’s incredible 99th anniversary and was a testament to the spirit of unity and service that defines the South Florida community.

With the generous support of Farm Share, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting food insecurity, this event provided free groceries to 500 local families. The initiative aimed to alleviate the burden of food insecurity that many households in South Florida face, ensuring that families had access to nutritious staples during this time of celebration.

A Legacy of Service

New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, a pillar in the Sistrunk community for nearly a century, played a vital role in making this event a success. Their longstanding commitment to uplifting the community aligns perfectly with SouthPromo.com’s mission to give back and create lasting change through impactful events.

“We are grateful to our partners and to Farm Share for helping us serve our community in such a meaningful way,” said SouthPromo.com’s leadership team. “Our goal has always been to bridge gaps and bring hope to those in need, and this event was a shining example of what can be accomplished when organizations unite for a common cause.”

Eliminating Food Insecurity One Event at a Time

Food insecurity remains a pressing issue in South Florida, but events like this demonstrate how collaboration between community organizations, nonprofits, and local leaders can create positive change. By providing essential resources to families, SouthPromo.com and its partners are helping to ensure that every individual in the community has access to the food they need to thrive.

As SouthPromo.com continues to organize events like this, we remain committed to strengthening the communities we serve. A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers, partners, and supporters who made this day possible.
